ECANZ Electrotech 2011- Update

The ECANZ Electrotech Tradeshow 2011 in Rotorua was a great success, as it was only the second year it has been run, the turnout was excellent.

The simPRO stand ran hot in the afternoon, with people 2-3 deep vying for a position to see the  screens for the live demonstrations.

The ECANZ members who were assisting on the day all looked great in their crisp Master Electricians shirts, and did a fantastic job helping and directing people all around the show.

Our thanks to all involved, and we look forward to next year where it will be bigger and better!

FIRE-NZ Conference and Exhibition 2011

The annual FIRE-NZ Conference and Exhibition to be held on 14th and 15th September 2011 at the Ellerslie Event Centre in Auckland.

FIRE-NZ is now recognized as the fire protection event of each year. We continue this year with the theme “Champions of Fire”.

The conference and exhibition theme will drive up the best of the best from fire engineering, fire protection and our industry partners with state of the art and latest developments from exhibitors and conference speakers.

Our conference presentations will see the theme “Champions of Fire” represented with key note speakers and addresses from world class local and international presenters.

Date: 14th-15th September
Time: 8:30am-4:30pm
Venue: The Ellerslie Event Centre, Auckland

simPRO will be onsite doing live demonstrations of the simPRO Fire Software for contractors and answering any questions you may have.

  • A new Events page listing simPRO-hosted and industry events
  • Lightbox effect enlarges images for easier reading
  • Quick links to our Video Tutorials, Online Chat service, Events page and Email Support

Electrotech ECANZ Tools and Technology Expo 2011

This one day event is a wealth of knowledge and new innovations that are available to assist your business.

Upcoming in simPRO Version 10.11

simPRO version 10.11 is now well underway and has some fantastic new features in store.

Feature Updates Include:

  1. Access for simPRO support staff can now be enabled/disabled in the defaults
  2. For Contractors:
    • Tax Codes support
    • Retentions support
    • Multiple Work Orders per contractor for same department
    • Within each work order you can specify the quantity of materials/pre-builds
    • CIS is broken down by material and labour for UK clients
  3. Salutations (Mr., Mrs., Ms., Miss, Dr., Sir) now available for clients, locations and contacts
  4. Variations tabs now break down variations by section name and give totals per section
  5. Catalogue and Supplier imports now available for John R Turks, Plumbing World (NZ) and K Simpson (NZ)
  6. Sales and Cost tracking can now be done by business groups as an alternative to categories
  7. New look simPRO Field app
