Integrating security systems across access control, video surveillance, intruder detection and network products and services, as well as physical security such as locking solutions, and custom-made steel security doors, grilles and gates.

KINGS also has one of the largest business-dedicated technical forces in Sydney servicing and maintaining these systems.

Business Challenge

At the time of implementation KINGS Security had three operating units within their business, manufacturing, service and installation projects. The challenge was to find a product that could be applied to these multi-business units. simPRO became a real option after a live demonstration in their office.

The first reaction from Operations and Service managers was the easy navigation of the web interface, which was a critical part in selecting the software along with the visibility and reporting features it provided.

Technology Needed

A comprehensive back end service management system, which supported complex service contracts and SLA’s – with the ability to offer a real time field force mobility solution to PDAs.

The Solution

KINGS Security selected simPRO; enabling local and remote staff to access the web based system to support a range of service based activity.

Business Impact

KINGS has at any one time 15 – 20 major, and 25 – 30 smaller projects, all needing quick and accurate reporting of financial status.

With simPRO, all projects now have up to date time & billing, product control, progress claims and variations, all of which can be updated and/or accessed from any building site with web access or a wireless hotspot, which was a real advantage for KINGS Security’s Project Managers.
